Ocean Survival is one of the 12 games specially designed, handcrafted and painted by Friendly Liu for her Get Go Games exhibition. The original game is known as Jungle (鬥獸棋). The artwork comes with 2 sets of handmade game pieces (each set has 10 pieces, in total of 20 pieces) and game instrution in Traditional Chinese. The game aims to raise the awareness about ocean pollution issue. Each game piece contains small amout of polystyrene foam picked up by the artist on different beaches. Two game pieces (Shell) has a real shell embeded. Due to the uniqueness of the Shell game piece, the shell will not be the same as the image shown above.
 
After purchasing the artwork, a digital file of the translated game rules in English and German will be sent to customer's email. The artwork is a collectible item, but may also be played with at the buyer's discretion.
